We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established independent workshop in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and close-knit team, working on a wide variety of vehicles with access to modern diagnostic and ADAS equipment.
The RoleYou will be responsible for:
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Advanced diagnostics and fault finding.
- MOT testing and associated repairs.
- Vehicle inspections and health checks.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
This role offers plenty of variety and is ideal for a technician who enjoys problem-solving and working across multiple vehicle brands.
Candidate Requirements- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
- Current MOT Tester licence.
- Previous workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Main dealer experience desirable.
- Hybrid and EV experience advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- £43,000 – £47,000 basic salary
, depending on experience. - Monday to Friday working pattern.
- No weekends.
