You’ll ensure works are completed efficiently, on time, and in line with all relevant compliance and health & safety requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and support a mobile workforce while delivering outstanding results and positive resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, to specification, and to a high standard.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and performance through regular site visits and inspections.
  • Review completed works, ensuring coding accuracy and appropriate justification for variations.
  • Liaise with planners, administrators, and operational teams to maintain efficient workflows and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, conduct risk assessments, and complete site inspections to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Assist with resource planning and scheduling to ensure effective delivery of works.
  • Build positive working relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • Support, mentor, and develop apprentices and team members to encourage continuous improvement.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Damp & Mould Supervisor, or Senior Operative within social housing or property maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, RAMS, and compliance procedures.
  • Experience managing subcontractors or operational teams and monitoring performance against KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • SSSTS, SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely qualification (preferred).
  • A full UK driving licence.
What's on Offer

Salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience.

  • Company van and fuel card.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Colleague referral bonus of up to £2,000.
  • Long service recognition awards.
  • Employee discount and wellbeing platform.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
