Overview
Let's Play are looking for an individual to lead a variety of fun-filled activities and supervise the children at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Watford Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford. This will include keeping the children safe, leading activities and ensuring the programme is delivered to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability aged between 5 and 12 years.
The daily programme will include activities from our schedule designed to have a positive impact on young children. Sessions may include Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building and Arts n Crafts.

Responsibilities- Manage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard.
- Liaise with parents/carers, staffing team and the Directors regularly.
- Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic and enjoyable for primary-aged children.
- Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
- Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
- Follow our coaching philosophy:
Fun, Inclusive & Educational. - Understand the individual needs of staff and children and engage them appropriately.
- Deal with any first aid or emergency situations.
- Be approachable in liaising with parents/carers.
- Commit to delivering every session to the best of your ability.
- Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
- Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
- Experience working at children’s holiday camps or in a childcare setting.
- Demonstrates willingness to develop skills and practice.
- Punctual, reliable & committed.
- Experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.
- Strong communication & organisational skills.
- Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers and children.
- Clean UK driver’s license.
- Experience or willingness to deliver other activities during Fun Week (e.g., Arts and Crafts, Multi-Sports).
- Completed relevant courses at Sixth Form, College or University.
