Sportswear & Streetwear Brand House | Watford

We are working with a long-standing client of 22 years — a well-established sportswear and streetwear brand house — to appoint an Apparel Graphic Designer to join their vibrant and growing team.

This is a financially strong, cash-generative business with multiple brands under one roof. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive of long-term growth and development, offering both stability and progression.

The Role

You will play a key role in shaping seasonal graphics across multiple brands and categories, working closely with design, product, and merchandising teams to deliver commercially strong apparel graphics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design original apparel graphics including prints, placement prints, AOPs, logos, and typography
  • Develop graphics across multiple categories: tees, sweats, outerwear, accessories, menswear and womenswear
  • Create and support seasonal product lookbooks for various brands within the group
  • Translate trend research, mood boards, and briefs into commercially viable designs
  • Prepare production-ready artwork (correct sizing, colour separations, and file formats)
  • Work closely with garment designers, product developers, and merchandisers
  • Collaborate with suppliers and factories when required to ensure accurate execution
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines across seasonal calendars
  • Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries
  • Respond constructively to feedback and iterate designs efficiently
Skills & Experience Required
  • 3–5 years’ experience in apparel / fashion graphic design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating print, placement, and typography
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (InDesign preferred)
  • Solid understanding of print techniques (screen print, digital, embroidery, embroidery, etc.)
  • Strong sense of typography, colour, and composition
  • Ability to work at pace in a commercial environment
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Experience across menswear, womenswear, and kidswear is highly desirable
