Know your Nylons from your Nubucks, and your archive drops from this season's must-haves? We want to hear from you.
Recruiting for a group behind a portfolio of globally recognised sport and streetwear brands, and they are on the hunt for a Apparel Designer to join the in-house team, working across dedicated SMU lines, inline collections and special projects.
If your handwriting is edgy, urban, and unmistakably yours, and you live and breathe sport and street culture, this is your chance to shape collections that hit the street and the shop floor.
What you'll be doing:
- Researching trends, key items and cultural references season after season
- Building mood and trend boards that set the creative direction
- Sketching original designs and technical specs true to the seasonal brief
- Partnering closely with Design, Product and Sales to range-build each season
- Producing accurate, detailed spec sheets and tech packs
- Running fit sessions, feeding changes back into specs and out to suppliers
- Owning development samples and keeping every deadline on the critical path
- Travelling when needed to meet clients, brand owners and collaborators
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years' design experience in streetwear, active wear or sportswear
- Advanced Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office skills
- A strong process from research and board work through to development and technical diagrams
- Sharp knowledge of current sport and streetwear trends
- Confident freehand and digital spec work — accurate, every time
- Solid understanding of garment/fabric construction and pattern cutting
Sound like you? We'd love to see your portfolio & CV.
