Senior Product Designer - Design System

Allwyn UK is recruiting a Senior Product Designer – Design System to govern the design system's foundations, components and templates and champion its adoption across product squads. The role involves collaborating with Product, Engineering and Content Design to ensure the design system scales across web and app experiences, contributing to the design system roadmap and quarterly planning, and promoting accessibility, consistency and efficiency.

• Oversee governance and documentation of foundations, components and templates to keep the design system as the single source of truth for the product design team
• Drive collaboration with Engineering, including connecting the component library to code through tokenisation
• Support evolution of Figma libraries, foundations and component architecture to ensure scalability
• Maintain and build upon existing ways of working so each squad contributes to the design system vision and strategy
• Work within the Design System product squad to deliver against its roadmap and contribute to quarterly planning
• Feed into bringing new AI tooling to increase efficiencies across the squads
• Identify opportunities to improve adoption, reduce duplication and drive greater consistency across product teams
• Help enforce design standards across each product squad

• Industry leader in Figma
• Extensive experience creating, evolving and governing design systems within a complex digital environment
• Demonstrable experience maintaining and scaling a design system
• Strong understanding of component‑based design, design tokens and the relationship between design systems and front‑end development
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for consistency, quality and usability
