Learning Support Assistant at ASPIRE PEOPLE LIMITED

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team at one of our SEN schools located in Bushey – for pupils with physical and neurological impairments. You will support our special needs students’ learning in the classroom throughout the school day.

• Help the class teacher plan, deliver, and evaluate specialist learning activities
• Work with pupils on therapy or care programmes designed and supervised by a therapist or care professional
• Supervise individuals and groups of pupils throughout the day, including in the classroom, playground, and dining areas
• Attend to pupils’ personal needs, social, welfare, and health matters to maintain a healthy and safe school environment

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8.30 am–3.15 pm
Thursday: 8.30 am–4.30 pm (additional hour for staff training)

• A warm and friendly nature with a calm and patient approach
• Experience working with pupils who have learning difficulties is an advantage but not essential – extensive training will be provided
