Teaching Assistant Role

Are you interested in launching your career in education as a Teaching Assistant? We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEND school in Watford, supporting students with a range of SEND needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting, have SEND experience, and be available for the full academic year.

• Assist children in their learning and development as a teaching assistant.
• Help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure student progress is prioritised.
• Work 1:1 with students with SEND needs to help them achieve their developmental milestones.

• Available immediately.
• Experience working in a primary school as a teaching assistant, supporting students with SEND.
• Willing to support SEND children in your role as a teaching assistant.
• Must have a child-only DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• Experience with children in some capacity in the UK, with references available.
• Live local to Watford or within a commutable distance.
