Teaching Assistant Role
Are you interested in launching your career in education as a Teaching Assistant? We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEND school in Watford, supporting students with a range of SEND needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting, have SEND experience, and be available for the full academic year.
Responsibilities- Assist children in their learning and development as a teaching assistant.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure student progress is prioritised.
- Work 1:1 with students with SEND needs to help them achieve their developmental milestones.
- Available immediately.
- Experience working in a primary school as a teaching assistant, supporting students with SEND.
- Willing to support SEND children in your role as a teaching assistant.
- Must have a child-only DBS or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience with children in some capacity in the UK, with references available.
- Live local to Watford or within a commutable distance.
- Specialists in securing long term and permanent placements for teachers and a range of support staff.
- Able to find jobs that meet your preferences whether that be location, type of job, pay expectations etc.
- Quick and efficient registration process / interview via Zoom currently.
- Excellent track record in securing jobs quickly and efficiently for professionals in education.
- Friendly team who always have your job seekers' interests at heart.
