The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop confidence and proficiency in mathematics. You will deliver engaging lessons that make Maths accessible, enjoyable, and relevant to all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on progress and achievement
  • Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Create a positive, respectful classroom environment
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student growth
  • Plan effectively to prepare students for GCSE success

    Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice
  • Track pupil progress and liaise with parents and senior staff
  • Participate in wider school life, clubs, and community initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Maths
  • Innovative and reflective teaching approach
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
