Overview

A Teaching Assistant is required to start in an 'Outstanding' School based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Graduates or experienced Teaching Assistants welcome.

The successful applicants will join a thriving and supportive school and contribute to students' academic lives in a well-established SEN department.

• Support vulnerable students with a range of SEN needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Behavioural needs, Dyslexia).
• Assist in delivering targeted support to pupils across key stages and within the SEN department.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment and participate in school-led training and CPD opportunities.
• Flexible involvement across age groups as required by the school.
• Engage with additional school activities such as parents’ evenings as needed.

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Position: Teaching Assistant

Type of Work: KS3 / KS4 / KS5 (supporting these key stages)

Start Date: January 2026

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Full time (08:00 – 15:30 or 16:00), with 1:1 and parental evening commitments as required

Salary: £85 - £105 per day, depending on experience

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Psychology-related degree is desirable but not essential.
