We are a lovely one-form entry primary school in Watford, recognised as Outstanding across all areas by Ofsted. Our school is committed to providing an inclusive, nurturing and high-quality education for all pupils, including those with additional needs. We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENCo to lead and develop our SEND provision and ensure the best possible outcomes for all our learners.

The Role

As our SENCo, you will:

* Provide strategic leadership and coordination of SEND provision across the school.

* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, families and external professionals to ensure timely identification, intervention and review of pupils with additional needs.

* Lead on statutory processes including EHCP applications, reviews and annual reviews.

* Monitor and evaluate impact of SEND support and interventions.

* Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and best practice guidance.

* Provide advice and training to staff to support high-quality inclusive teaching.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

* Has the NASENCo Award (mandatory).

* Has experience of working in SEND leadership or coordination.

* Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Is committed to promoting inclusion and ensuring every child can succeed.
