A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to play a key role in shaping children’s first experiences of school and fostering a love of learning from the very beginning.

• Full class teacher responsibility for a Reception class
• Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework
• Creating a stimulating, inclusive and child-centred learning environment
• Supporting children’s academic, social and emotional development
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking progress through observations and assessments
• Working closely with parents, colleagues and support staff to ensure every child thrives

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
• Passionate about providing outstanding early years education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Creative, nurturing and committed to helping every child succeed
