About the Role
A secondary school in watofrd are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Officer to join them. This is a key role supporting the effective management of school data systems and contributing to the smooth running of academic and administrative functions.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our data systems, ensuring accuracy of student information, and producing high-quality reports to support teaching, learning and school improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain school data systems, including SIMS and Go4
Schools
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory census returns
* Monitor and report on student achievement, attendance and behaviour data
* Produce reports and analysis to support leadership and school improvement
* Support timetable administration and in-year changes
* Oversee pupil reporting processes, including report production and distribution
* Maintain staff and student data records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
* Support exam and end-of-year processes, including data checks and promotions
* Provide training and support to staff on data systems where required
About You
* Experience working with school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Go4
Schools)
* Strong data management and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proactive and able to solve problems independently
* Experience working in a school environment
