Location: The Grange Academy, Bushey WD23 3AA
Hours: 5 days per week, Term Time Only + inset days
Salary: £25,003 - £27,525 per annum (term‑time only)

Our mission at School‑Home Support is simple. We get children and young people back in school ready to learn, whatever it takes.
We are looking for a Family Support Practitioner to work in close partnership with school staff at the setting, delivering a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for children and their families. The role focuses on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning, and building strong relationships with schools and communities.
Responsibilities
• Deliver casework to support children’s learning outcomes
• Promote attendance and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with school staff and families
Qualifications
- Experience working in an education setting or similar to improve a child’s attendance and engagement
- Experience engaging with parents/carers, children or individuals through individual and/or group-based support
- Knowledge of factors affecting a child’s capacity to learn
- Experience working with families from diverse communities
- Experience with holistic family support
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and referral routes for safeguarding children
