A lovely primary school I am working with in Watford are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join them for an immediate start. This is an opportunity to work within a small school rated Outstanding across all major categories following their most recent 2024 inspection. With only 270 pupils, the school benefits from strong relationships, tight staff community, leadership visibility & accessible pastoral support.

• Nursery provision from age 2.
• Breakfast club and after-school wraparound care.
• SEN resourced provision, particularly for speech/language and autism support.
• Outdoor play and early years spaces typical of a modern primary academy setup.
• ICT/laptop access within after‑school provision.

We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
• Can deliver engaging and creative learning experiences
• Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Is committed to inclusion, wellbeing and achievement for every child
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Has strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Brings energy, positivity and enthusiasm to school life

This is provisionally a temporary full-time role with asap start until the end of the academic year, however - the school would be keen to take the candidate on as a permanent member of staff for September 2026 if they are the right fit!
