Nursery Teacher – Watford Give Children the Best Possible Start
Are you a passionate Early Years Teacher who believes that every child deserves an exciting and inspiring start to their education?
We are working with a welcoming and nurturing school in Watford that is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape young minds during one of the most important stages of a child's development.
The successful candidate will create a stimulating, play-based learning environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. You will have the opportunity to nurture children's curiosity, creativity and confidence while building strong foundations for future learning.
The role:- Planning and delivering engaging Early Years learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
- Observing, assessing and tracking children's progress
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Encouraging children's independence, confidence and love of learning through play
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about Early Years education
- Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Can create engaging learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Is committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential
- A supportive and experienced Early Years team
- Well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Friendly and welcoming leadership team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
