Overview
An exciting new opportunity within the School of Science & Public Services for a full-time lecturer. The role is suited for an enthusiastic and flexible person.
Join our forward-thinking team teaching the new Level 3 Criminology with Public Services course from September 2026.
Teaching Responsibilities- Teach modules across the WJEC L3 Applied Diploma in Criminology and the BTEC L3 Foundation Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services, including exam-based units and coursework:
Criminological Theories and Changing Awareness of Crime, Behaviour and Discipline in the Uniformed Protective Services, Citizenship and Diversity, Sociological Perspectives and Research Skills in Uniformed Protective Services. - Promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within teaching planning and delivery.
- Provide prompt, detailed assessment of student work and personal tutoring, including target setting.
Teaching experience and/or background in Criminology and/or Uniformed Protective Services would be desirable. We are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills.
