GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Bushey from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

As a Qualified SEN Teacher
, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, confidence, and academic progress while working closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies.

The successful Qualified SEN Teacher will have a strong understanding of a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be committed to providing high-quality teaching and support that enables every pupil to succeed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Strong knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
• Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to teaching
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one
