Overview
The West Herts College Group is currently seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated, experienced hourly paid English lecturer to join the College’s dedicated English team.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will deliver, develop and prepare Stepping Stones and GCSE English. The role also includes supporting vocational staff to embed English into their courses, assisting with diagnostic processes, and contributing to quality processes through evidence of outstanding schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans.
Qualifications- Substantial experience teaching English, with creativity and adaptability to support students at varying levels.
- Excellent teaching skills and subject knowledge to succeed in this role.
- Full‑time, part‑time, and hourly paid positions available.
- Location:
campuses in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and Luton. - Closing date:
Tuesday 28th July; interviews on Thursday 13th August 2026.
- Free on‑site gym at the Watford campus.
- Cycle to work scheme, free on‑site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on Fridays.
