Academics are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Carpenders Park, Watford , supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 8. The school caters for children with a broad range of needs, including Autism (ASD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex learning needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Watford , you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide individualised support, helping pupils access learning, develop their communication and social skills, and build confidence. Some learners require support with personal care , so we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in care or support work, alongside those who have worked as a Teaching Assistant or within an EYFS setting .
