My client is a regional main contractor specialising in multi-million new build projects across the health and education sectors.
They are currently seeking a freelance Design Manager for a new build £40m commercial scheme near to Watford.
Responsibilities- Attending and contributing to design meetings
- Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
- Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
- Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
- Ensuring project completion in line with programme
- Value engineering/ resolving technical and design issues
