A leading environmental and ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Engineering Geologist to support its growing operations in Watford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to join a busy team delivering a diverse range of residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment projects across the South East.

The role offers a strong mix of office, technical, and site-based responsibilities, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

* Coordinating and supervising ground investigation works

* Carrying out site visits, logging, and sampling activities

* Producing geotechnical and geo-environmental reports

* Interpreting ground investigation data and providing technical advice

* Managing project delivery to programme and budget

* Assisting with client communication and technical meetings

* Supporting junior staff and reviewing technical work

Candidate Requirements

* Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnics, or similar

* Previous experience within a ground engineering consultancy

* Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting

* Confident working both independently and within a project team

* Good communication and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence
