Electronic Design Engineer

Are you an Electronic Design Engineer looking to step up into a more senior, responsible and autonomous position within a cutting‑edge R&D team? We are looking for candidates who have strong electronic circuit design and electrical design skills with some basic firmware programming experience. Exposure to higher voltage such as mains or EV is an advantage.

This role involves designing and developing electronic circuitry and firmware for portable and handheld electrical equipment, including redesigning existing products for annual launches and maintaining product lines due to component obsolescence and changing standards.

• Design electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
• Maintain existing product line, e.g., due to component obsolescence or changes in standards.

• Proven track record of product design in electronic/electrical equipment (test and measurement equipment, domestic goods, personal electronics, etc.).
• Experience with inverter development or EV BMS design.
• Programming of real‑time embedded firmware and proficiency in

• Analogue and digital electronic design skills.
• Experience with schematic capture using Altium or similar.
• Experience in high‑voltage technology designs.
• Design to legal/safety standards.
• Exposure to ST MCU design is an advantage.
• Familiarity with higher voltage such as mains or EV is advantageous.

• Basic salary up to £75,000.
