Are you a Land Surveyor looking for an autonomous role where you can take ownership of projects from initial survey through to final deliverables, while joining a growing multidisciplinary consultancy offering technical development and career progression?
Founded over 50 years ago, this established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivers practical and innovative civil, structural, transport and surveying solutions across residential, commercial, education, science, infrastructure and industrial projects. Working in both the public and private sectors, the team collaborates closely with architects, developers, contractors and local authorities.
In this role, you will undertake a variety of land and geomatics surveying projects, working across a diverse portfolio of projects, including schemes valued in the millions of pounds. You will work autonomously from planning and completing field surveys through to processing data, producing CAD drawings and delivering final outputs, while managing your own workload and liaising with clients and project teams.
This role would suit a Land Surveyor looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a growing consultancy.
The Role:- Planning and undertaking land and measured surveys across a range of projects
- Working independently to collect accurate survey data and manage your own workload
- Processing survey data and producing drawings, models and final deliverables
- Using CAD and surveying software to produce accurate technical outputs
- Liaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
- Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring it is calibrated and ready for use
- Supporting less experienced members of the surveying team where appropriate
- Travelling across the UK depending on project requirements
- Land Surveyor or similar
- Confident managing your own workload and taking ownership of projects
- Experience carrying out land and/or geomatics surveys from start to finish
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
