Job Description

Mobile Funeral Arranger – £26,266 per annum (£13.47 per hour) plus benefits

Full‑time 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm. Mobile role covering Watford High Street, Burnt Oak, Kingswood, Kingsbury, Eastcote, Borehamwood, Ruislip, Watford St Albans Road, Croxley Green.

Required:

full manual UK driver’s licence.

What you’ll do
  • Travel to meet clients, build and maintain positive relationships with the community.
  • Support our clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering client questions.
  • Ensure the funeral home—both inside and out—is clean, safe and welcoming, maintaining a professional environment and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Work with digital systems and devices (computers, tablets, smartphones) to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
  • Refer regulated work such as selling and informing clients about funeral plans to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
  • Assist with manual handling of coffins and the care and preparation of the deceased (pre‑viewing grooming, moving the deceased, general responsibilities).
  • Update client management applications with accurate and timely information to keep records current.
This role would suit people who have
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • The ability to work confidently on their own, travelling to client meetings or managing a branch independently.
  • Good communication skills in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work with numbers, perform basic calculations and invoicing.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring regulatory policies are followed.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to learn new applications and systems.
  • A passion for delivering great service and building relationships.
  • High levels of empathy, discretion and care.
  • The ability to carry out physical tasks, such as moving coffins, with appropriate training and equipment.
