An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a thriving organisation in Hertfordshire, supporting the finance function during a period of continued growth. Job Title - Management Accountant
Location - Hertfordshire
Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Contract - Permanent
Working Pattern - 4 days a week in office, 1 day remote
Job Responsibilities- Take overall responsibility for weekly takings sheets and revenue recognition processes across UK venues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial records.
- Manage the fixed asset register and oversee capital expenditure reporting, maintaining up-to-date records that support effective decision-making.
- Handle corporate overhead accounting and forecasting activities, contributing valuable insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
- Review monthly revenue figures and venue profit & loss statements, identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare statutory accounts in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and transparency at every stage of the process.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations including gift cards, deferred revenue, and stock accounts to maintain robust financial controls.
- Oversee all aspects of intercompany accounting for UK entities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation between group companies.
- Possess excellent IT skills with particular strength in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities with clear written and verbal communication skills that enable effective collaboration across departments.
