You will be working in the Finance enabling Function based in Leavesden (Watford) where we are responsible for protecting and growing a successful Skanska UK with predictable, profitable and sustainable performance. We partner with the business to deliver excellent financial services, efficient processes and robust governance — ensuring every decision supports our shared future.
We are currently looking for a Finance Manager - Projects who will act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team of a portfolio of Hard Facilities Management projects.
Responsibilities- Timely production of accurate and insightful monthly management accounts in accordance with Skanska internal accounting manual and IFRS accounting policies.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts for Healthcare Facilities Management (FM) projects, analyse performance, explain variances against latest forecast and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor contract KPIs, profitability, cash flow, cost development, and work alongside project teams to drive and optimise financial performance.
- Preparation, key support, analysis and coordination of the quarterly forecasting cycle. Support the commercial and operational teams in producing the FM Healthcare reporting pack for submission.
- Ensure financial processes are adhered to and identify/implement improvements in processes, reporting and systems as appropriate.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of management and financial accounting.
- Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and ability to improve systems and processes.
- Experience managing PFI projects and good PFI contractual understanding.
