Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Responsibilities
  • Operate within the Group Financial Reporting team, supporting central consolidation and delivering high‑quality external reporting across a global organisation.
  • Work across UK and US listed reporting requirements, contributing to external reporting outputs including regulatory filings such as Form
    20‑F.
  • Take ownership of complex accounting areas including acquisition accounting, impairment assessments, and statutory profit adjustments, ensuring alignment with IFRS and Group policies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders such as Treasury, Tax and other finance teams, particularly during peak reporting periods such as half‑year and year‑end.
  • Work with external auditors, supporting audits and ensuring strong governance and compliance within a SOX‑controlled environment.
  • Translate complex accounting topics into clear and practical insights, writing technical accounting papers and communicating effectively with non‑finance stakeholders and senior leaders.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS, group reporting and consolidation in a multinational environment.
  • Experience working in a SOX‑controlled environment and managing complex accounting topics, including authoring technical accounting papers.
  • Approximately 7 to 10years of relevant experience, including a mandatory Big4 audit background and ideally industry experience within a large multinational or FTSE‑scale organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present clearly to senior stakeholders and work effectively with external auditors.
