Location:

Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + £6k car allowance + 15% bonus

We’re working with a leading organisation in the infrastructure and engineering space, delivering large-scale, complex projects across the UK. The Finance Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting operational decision-making.

• Act as a key finance partner to project teams, providing insight, challenge, and support to drive performance
• Lead, mentor, and develop a project-focused finance team
• Review project financials, identify risks and opportunities, and help maximise profitability
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, commercial, and operations
• Oversee monthly reporting, forecasting cycles, and financial planning
• Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and continuous process improvement
• Lead audit activity (external and client), working closely with project and finance teams
• Support year-end reporting and deeper project performance reviews

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in a project-based environment (construction, engineering, infrastructure or similar)
• Strong business partnering skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
• Commercially minded, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
• Experience leading or mentoring teams
