As our Paraplanner you will typically:- Participate in and delivering comprehensive financial research, within set SLAs, on products and investments on an independent basis using company-approved research tools
- Prepare and delivering bespoke investment reports, within set SLAs, to clients through the analysis of existing investment portfolios and comparison against suitable benchmarks
- Prepare and interpreting complex plan information with a view to completing transfer analysis
- Prepare complex financial planning reports, within set SLAs, in multiple financial planning areas
- Research and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performed
- Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessary
- Participating in firm research projects, adhering to set deadlines, as and if required.
- Diploma in Financial Planning
- Demonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reports
- Experience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedback
- A high standard of written and numerical skills
- An ability to demonstrate strong report‑writing skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude in Microsoft Office.
- Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that SLAs are adhered to
- Delivery of accurate and thorough research, calculations, New Business Investment Reports and FPRs to advisers
- Contribution into technical and regulatory development of advisers and/or staff on a specific case basis
- Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessary.
