Commercial Finance Manager

Equifind is exclusively supporting a leading retail business with the hire of a Commercial Finance Manager.

This is a highly strategic role, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business. The position will play a key part in supporting continued growth, with a particular focus on commercial performance, investment decisions and international expansion.

• Partner with key stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making
• Develop robust financial models and analysis to assess growth opportunities, investment proposals and key commercial initiatives
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across revenue, margin and costs
• Produce regular reporting highlighting key trends, risks and opportunities
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to review performance, challenge spend and support commercial decision-making
• Improve reporting around customer behaviour, segmentation, seasonality and marketing performance
• Drive improvements across financial processes, systems and data quality
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

• Chartered accountant
• Strong commercial finance experience within a fast-paced retail or consumer business
• Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capability
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
• Proactive, pragmatic and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
