Your new company
A well-established organisation based in Watford is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 2-month assignment. This is a busy, fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high transaction volumes.
Your new role
- Processing approximately 2,000 supplier invoices per month
- Matching, batching and coding invoices using the Coins system
- Managing a largely manual purchase ledger process
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving invoice and supplier queries
- Preparing prepayments and associated schedules
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
- Maintaining accurate supplier records
- Supporting month-end activities as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a high-volume purchase ledger role
- Experience processing large volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to resolve supplier queries professionally and promptly
- Experience with Coins would be highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Immediate availability
