Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company
A well-established organisation based in Watford is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 2-month assignment. This is a busy, fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high transaction volumes.

Your new role

Processing approximately 2,000 supplier invoices per month
Matching, batching and coding invoices using the Coins system
Managing a largely manual purchase ledger process
Performing supplier statement reconciliations
Investigating and resolving invoice and supplier queries
Preparing prepayments and associated schedules
Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
Maintaining accurate supplier records
Supporting month-end activities as required

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience within a high-volume purchase ledger role
Experience processing large volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
Strong reconciliation skills
Ability to resolve supplier queries professionally and promptly

Experience with Coins would be highly advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Immediate availability
