Main duties of the jobWe are actively recruiting proficient midwives with substantial and proven experience in midwifery, who have successfully completed their midwifery preceptorship. The individual in this role will function as an integral part of the team, offering and leading midwifery care for service users and their families accessing services at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.
Person specification Education- Registered Midwife on the NMC professional register
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Evidence of ongoing relevant continuing professional development
- Have an understanding of the national agenda / Maternity Transformation Programme
- Completed preceptorship and working as a Band 6 Midwife
- Experience working in all areas of maternity – antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal
