Complex Care Assistant

Location:

Watford

Shift Pattern:

  • Days: 08:00 - 20:00
  • Nights: 20:00 - 08:00

Competitive pay rate of £20.00 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Romanian-speaking Complex Care Assisatnt to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home. Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child's quality of life.

About

the Role

As a Complex Care Assisatnt, you will provide person-centred care tailored to the client’s individual needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
  • Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
  • Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
  • Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
Essential Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
  • Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
  • Competent in Moving and Handling
  • Full UK driving licence and confident driver
  • Right to work in the UK
