Are you a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with a strong background in retail recruitment? TJX Europe is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager (12-month FTC) to lead our efforts in sourcing top-tier talent for store management and field management roles. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in direct sourcing, headhunting, and candidate attraction to help our Stores to build diverse and high-performing teams.
Your ability to partner with business leaders and advise on volume peak hiring strategies will be crucial in driving our success.
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take a hands-on approach as well as lead one Senior TA Specialist to identify and hire the best talent in the marketplace. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate closely with your business areas (Retail Stores/ Loss Prevention/ Store Operations/Customer Service) to understand their current and future needs, ensuring that our recruitment strategies are aligned with the company's goals.
- Support the business to adopt inclusive and innovative hiring practices, while maintaining an agile and flexible approach to meet the dynamic demands of the TJX Off-Price model.
- Ensure effective utilisation of channels and media for role advertisements and job board candidate databases, as identified by the operational team and TA Manager.
- Establish contacts with a wide range of external providers, such as local government-supported agencies, to source and attract potential candidates.
- Effectively challenge the function on best practices and interview processes, in line with the Inclusion & Diversity agenda.
- Constantly review the candidate experience for a smooth interview and recruitment process and suggest improvements to meet agreed SLA time frames.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in in-house retail recruitment, particularly in sourcing and hiring for store/field management positions. At TJX, relationships are seen as the glue and the grease to your success, so you should be adept at building relationships with senior business leaders and have a proven track record of delivering on a range of roles and levels.
This includes:
- Strong communication skills combined with a flexible and positive approach.
- Being seen as a Talent Acquisition expert in supporting the hiring strategy with the ability to quickly develop specific business and market knowledge.
- Ability to influence business areas on long-term strategies and projects with a forward-thinking approach.
- Ability to manage and develop others are essential, whether delivering projects as a team or supporting your direct report alongside day-to-day tasks.
- Experience in using various recruitment channels and tools, such as Linked In, Indeed etc is essential as is the ability to drive and manage Recruitment Campaigns.
