SAP Functional Consultant (Project Systems)

Salary: Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Watford (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days onsite)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Full time

A globally recognised organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (Project Systems) to play a key role in delivering enterprise scale SAP S/4

HANA Professional Services solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, helping design, configure and optimise project-based business processes covering project planning, costing, resource management, billing and project financials. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Professional Services, Resource Management and IT to deliver scalable SAP solutions that support critical business operations.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Project Systems solutions
• Configure SAP PS including Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Cost Planning, Budget Profiles and Settlement Rules
• Design and support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, costing and project financial management processes
• Configure professional services billing including Time & Materials, Fixed Price, Milestone Billing and Resource Related Billing
• Integrate SAP PS with SAP SD, FI/CO, HR and external business applications
• Support time recording, expense management and resource planning integrations
• Configure revenue recognition, project settlements and financial reporting
• Develop project profitability reporting and management information
• Produce functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios and solution designs
• Deliver workshops, user training and business demonstrations
• Provide L2/L3 functional support while identifying opportunities to optimise processes and automate manual activities

• Strong experience configuring SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Experience working within SAP S/4
  
  HANA Professional Services environments
• Knowledge of SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM)
• Strong understanding of project planning, costing, billing and project financial management
• Experience integrating SAP PS with SD, FI/CO, Time Management and related SAP modules
• Experience producing functional specifications, testing documentation and solution designs
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Customer focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• SAP PS Certification
• Experience delivering SAP Professional Services implementations
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation programmes
• Knowledge of Success Factors, Replicon, Concur or Pro Finda integrations
