We’re partnering with a technology-driven business in the gaming sector to appoint a Dev Ops Security professional during a major cloud and technology transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of secure engineering, protecting cloud environments, applications and delivery pipelines while supporting fast-paced innovation.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience across Dev Ops, Platform Engineering or Dev Sec Ops , alongside strong cloud security knowledge and hands-on expertise in Terraform, AWS and Azure.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, product and security teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring cloud infrastructure and applications remain protected as the business evolves.

This is a hands-on technical position, combining vulnerability management, automation and secure solution design. You’ll strengthen security controls, improve remediation processes and help teams deliver secure, scalable solutions across large-scale cloud transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in strengthening security across the business by:

  • Identifying, prioritising and resolving vulnerabilities across cloud platforms, applications, containers and CI/CD environments.
  • Working closely with Cyber Defence, SOC and Security teams to respond to emerging threats and incidents.
  • Integrating security tooling into development pipelines, including container, dependency and secret scanning.
  • Strengthening infrastructure security across AWS and Azure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
  • Automating remediation, compliance checks and policy enforcement through cloud-native tooling and policy-as-code approaches.
  • Supporting secure solution design and threat modelling across engineering teams.
  • Owning and improving vulnerability management processes, ensuring remediation targets are achieved.
  • Configuring and maintaining cloud security controls, including IAM, logging, monitoring, WAFs and key management.
  • Producing technical documentation, remediation guidance and operational runbooks.
  • Partnering with product and engineering teams to promote secure-by-design development standards.
  • Helping define and enforce governance and security policies across cloud environments.
About You

You’ll be a technically strong Dev Ops, Platform Engineering or Dev Sec Ops  professional with an automation-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and security teams.

You will also have:

  • Strong automation and scripting capabilities, with a development-focused approach.
  • Hands-on Terraform experience across AWS and Azure environments.
  • A strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, network security and container security.
  • Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, including Git Hub Actions.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management, remediation workflows and collaboration with security operations teams.
  • An understanding of modern cloud-native and distributed application architectures.
  • The ability to adapt quickly within evolving cloud technology environments.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams. Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to shape secure engineering practices during a major cloud transformation, with real technical influence and close collaboration between security and engineering.

    In return, you’ll benefit from:

    • £95,000 salary plus an annual bonus scheme.
    • Matched pension contributions up to 8.5%.
    • 26 days holiday, plus additional wellbeing days and bank holidays.
    • Private medical cover and life assurance.
    • Enhanced family leave policies.
    • A £500 wellness allowance.
    • Access to nutritionists, personal trainers and discounted health assessments.
    • Financial coaching support.
    • The opportunity to work on large-scale cloud transformation projects.
    • A collaborative business committed to sustainability, inclusion and meaningful social impact.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
