Are you an experienced Buyer with a background working for a residential developer or house builder?

Our client, a leading national residential developer, is looking to appoint a Buyer on a temp-to-perm basis to support a busy regional business with a strong pipeline of new housing developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

* Procuring materials and plant in line with project programmes.

* Obtaining and analysing supplier quotations.

* Negotiating prices, terms and supply agreements.

* Managing supplier relationships and performance.

* Ensuring timely delivery of materials to multiple live sites.

* Monitoring market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

* Working closely with Commercial, Technical and Construction teams.

* Maintaining accurate procurement records and reporting.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Buyer within a residential developer or house building environment is essential.

* Strong knowledge of construction materials and supply chains.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems e.g COINS.

* Full UK driving licence.
