Position: Project Manager Construction (Permanent)
Project Manager / Contracts Manager

Harrow, St. Albans, Watford, Amersham, Potters Bar

£55-65k plus car / car allowance / bonus

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who is adept in managing property repairs / insurance reinstatement works with values in the region of £150k.

This role will suit a Project Manager / Contracts Manager / Surveyor with a background in managing insurance claim reinstatement works, dealing with fire, flood and escape of water damage. If you have dealt with higher value/large loss claims this would be advantageous – but it is not essential.

This is an office/site-based role; you would be joining a solid, successful and expanding team working with some key insurance industry clients in and around the north / east London / Bucks area. You will have office support in terms of a claims/project coordinator and access to direct trades and sub-contractors.

This Project Manager / Contracts Manager will need:

* Experience in surveying and scoping residential property repairs/reinstatements

* An understanding of the insurance claims industry (property claims)

* A good knowledge of repair works; trades/labour, materials costs and project timescales

* Confidence in managing a team of trades carrying out repairs to specification

* Excellent communication skills and customer care skills - experience dealing with policyholders throughout the claims process

* Good IT skills (ideally having used Symbility/Core Logic, Synergy, Xactimate or similar)

* Full UK driving licence (car or allowance provided)
