- Develop and own a clear, multi‑channel marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
- Position the organisation as a trusted authority within certification, compliance, and assurance‑related markets
- Identify growth opportunities across sectors, services, and geographies
- Translate commercial goals into measurable marketing plans and KPIs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small in‑house marketing team
- Set clear priorities, objectives, and development plans
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers where needed
- Build scalable processes and structures to support future growth
- Shape and evolve brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition
- Ensure consistency across all touchpoints: digital, print, events, and customer communications
- Oversee content strategy including thought leadership, technical content, case studies, and sector insights
- Act as a senior marketing voice internally, influencing stakeholders across the business
- Deliver integrated campaigns that generate leads and support pipeline growth
- Oversee digital channels including website, SEO, paid media, email, and social media
- Use data and insight to optimise performance and ROI
- Work closely with sales teams to align campaigns and collateral
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with technical, commercial, and operational teams to ensure marketing reflects real customer needs
- Contribute to wider business strategy at senior leadership level

Essential- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role (B2B, professional services, regulated or similar environments)
- Strong track record of delivering growth‑focused marketing strategies
- Experience leading and developing small teams in a hands‑on capacity
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and brand management
- Commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in certification, compliance, assurance, standards, or adjacent sectors
- Experience supporting organisations through periods of growth or transformation
- Exposure to multi‑sector or international B2B markets
- Strategic thinker with a practical, delivery‑focused mindset
- Confident, low‑ego leader who can coach and develop others
