Syntech Recruitment are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge who are looking to recruit a Pipe Bender to join their specialist manufacturing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or pipe bending who enjoys working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality components to exacting standards.

• Setting and operating pipe bending machinery
• Hand-forming and fitting pipes to form blocks and measuring equipment
• Cutting pipes using electric saws and associated equipment
• Working from engineering drawings, specifications and build plans
• Adjusting and forming pipes to meet precise dimensional requirements
• Using measuring equipment to verify accuracy and quality
• Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks
• Maintaining productivity whilst achieving high-quality standards
• Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturing processes
• Supporting continuous improvement and 5S activities
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience
• Experience operating bending pipe/tube machinery or working with formed metal components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with engineering hand tools such as Torque Wrenches
• Basic understanding of measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers
