Product Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior Product Developer to take ownership of the full product lifecycle from design handover through to shipment samples across our global lines. You’ll be the technical backbone of the development process, working hands-on with factories, fabrics, and fit to bring commercially viable, production-ready product to life.
This is a role for someone who loves the craft: pattern cutting, construction, fabric development, and problem-solving under a tight critical path while building strong relationships with suppliers along the way.
Senior Product Developer (Sports and Lifestyle):The Role
- Managing the product lifecycle from tech pack review through to SMS and shipment samples
- Leading fit sessions from proto through to final approval, ensuring fit, quality, and construction meet brand standards
- Approving fabrics, trims, lab dips, and materials, and resolving issues with suppliers directly
- Owning the critical path tracking samples, approvals, and production, and flagging risks early
- Maintaining technical packs, size charts, construction standards, and testing manuals
- Overseeing wash and fabric performance testing to catch issues early
- Working closely with design, production, and sourcing teams, and supporting range reviews and presentations
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practice across the team
The Person
- Solid experience in Fashion/Apparel
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction and a good understanding of pattern cutting
- A strong background in fit, fabric development, finishes, and construction detail
- Experience working within a wholesale business model
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for product
This role is 4-5 days in the office in Watford, as you will be managing a team. You must be UK-based with a Full & Permanent Right To Work

Salary: £40000 – £45000/annum + Benefits
