Job Overview

Deliver high quality Specialist Palliative and End of Life nursing care as part of the In-Patient Unit multidisciplinary team, leading on and coordinating assessment, planning and evaluation of individualized patient-centred care. The role ensures a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to the patients’ ever-changing needs, maintains a respectful, non-judgemental and caring attitude and upholds the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice vision and philosophy of care.

Coordinate and run shifts, ensuring safety and organisation for staff and patients. Act as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community, building trusting, empathetic relationships with volunteers, customers, employees, head office teams, local traders and the community. Work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in a fast-moving environment.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care support, including bereavement services, within Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
