Salary: £21.93 - £24.22 per hour depending on experience.

Contract:

4× 12‑hour shifts per week (48 hours) with paid breaks and £1,000 Welcome Bonus

• Take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
• Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
• Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident.
• Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation.
• Overseeing the unit and clinical duties, including administration and ordering of medication, reviewing and evaluating care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
• Delivering best practice continually and supporting CQC tasks, ensuring high clinical standards.
• Communicating effectively and reporting skills essential for handover of clinical issues to other team members and health professionals.
• Managing care staff, remaining calm in emergency situations and ensuring patient safety, particularly when working alone at night.

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Previous experience in a care home setting and ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
• Confidence in providing clinical guidance for care teams and delivering best practice.
• Strong critical thinking skills, confidence, and self‑reliance, especially in limited support situations.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage care staff and remain calm in emergency situations.
