Our Watford-based client, an electrical and mechnical manufacturing firm, are looking for a full-time Field Sales Executive to grow their business. The role would involve travel, with a company car and paid travel included.
Position purpose:
Act as an integral member of the sales team, actively develop a customer portfolio and meet sales targets as defined by company standards.
- Prospecting phone calls, customer web sales meetings, making appointments & on-site visits for key opportunities
- Acquiring new customers, expanding existing business
- Following up quotes, maintaining customer relationships
- Understanding and reporting customer needs and market developments
- Identifying new product opportunities
- Order Intake
- Invoiced Sales
- New customer acquisitions
- Growth of small and large customer accounts
- Full product range
- Specified geographical area (out-of-area opportunities available)
- Researching market & identifying new prospects
- Overcoming objections
- Maximising personal productivity
- Internal, External, Internal Sales & Customer Service team, Internal support engineers, Other field sales personnel, Sales Coordinator MD Customers Prospects
- A recognised electrical/mechanical degree, ONC, City and Guilds, MBA/MS or Comparable qualification. Sales qualification.
- Technical Sales Experience
- Telephone and Web meeting sales experience
- On site visit sales experience
- Negotiation of sales offers
- Studying customers product range to identify sales opportunities
- Application support for customers
- Cross referencing different manufacturers product ranges
- Good reporting skills
- High productivity Levels

- Computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel
Must have a clean UK driving licence with 0 points.
Must be motivated and pro-active.

Good written & spoken English.
