Parts Advisor

Salary:  £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)    Job Type:  Full-Time | Permanent
The Opportunity   Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced  Parts Advisor  to join their busy team in Royston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive or commercial vehicle parts experience who enjoys providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities       Assist customers with parts enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.

Identify and supply the correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Monitor stock levels, order parts, and check deliveries.

Pick, pack, and issue parts for the workshop and external customers.

Handle returns, warranty claims, and supplier queries.

Maintain accurate stock records and ensure the parts department is well organised.

Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong customer relationships.

About You       Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive parts role.

Good knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.

Competent IT skills and experience using parts management systems is desirable.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the location of the site.

A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude.
