Field Service Engineer – Industrial Laundry

Location:

Watford and surrounding areas(field-based)
Salary: £36,000 basic + bonus

Hours:

Monday to Friday
On-call: 1 in 4 weekends

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across customer sites in Watford and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work–life balance.

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault-finding, and repair of commercial and industrial laundry machinery, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer premises

* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Install and commission new equipment where required

* Provide technical support and advice to customers

* Complete service reports and documentation accurately

* Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

Skills & Experience

* Electrical bias essential, with solid mechanical knowledge

* Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar

* Backgrounds considered:

* Industrial or commercial laundry

* Commercial equipment

* Residential white goods / domestic appliances

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Good customer-facing and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence
