Senior Reporter (AI editorial) £40,000 - £45,000 Hybrid London Our client is an award-winning team delivering a portfolio of market-leading events, research reports, newsletters and digital content across the investor relations community. Their subscription platforms combines independent editorial with proprietary data and intelligence, helping professionals stay informed, benchmark performance and connect with peers. As the B2B media landscape evolves our client is modernizing how their editorial works to meet the new needs of their communities whilst maintaining the trust, authority and integrity of their brands.

The senior reporter (AI editorial) is central to that shift. You'll report on the latest developments affecting their audiences, moderate events and webinars and produce editorial content on the discussions. You'll be responsible for improving the frequency and quality of their output and for building the systems that allow a small team to produce timely, error-free editorial content to a high standard.

We're looking for someone with knowledge of AI and automation who can improve processes and increase the time their journalists spend on high-value activities: building relationships, sourcing insights from leading people and understanding what matters to their readers. You'll provide oversight of AI systems and be the human-in-the-loop, with an eye for detail and strong editorial judgment to ensure that everything they produce is publishable, credible and compatible with house style.

Your work will contribute toward increasing web traffic, exposure and subscription revenues. Responsibilities Report on the latest developments affecting their audiences. Moderate events and webinars. Produce editorial content on the discussions. Improve the frequency and quality of their output. Qualifications Five or more years' experience in journalism, including B2B or trade media. Required Skills Superior writing and editing skills, with strong storytelling, a keen eye for detail and a record of producing clean, error-free copy to tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience moderating events and interviewing senior leaders. The ability to analyze and validate data then turn it into clear stories that serve their audiences. Practical media law knowledge and experience in overseeing published materials. Hands-on experience using AI in editorial work, with growing proficiency over the past year and the aptitude and appetite to build, pilot and own editorial AI tools as the role develops.

A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and its role in publishing. A proven ability to prioritize and manage several concurrent projects and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work well independently and as part of a small team. Sound editorial judgment that can be explained and defended.
