CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER
Questech are working with a large machining company that has heavily invested in modern machines located close to Rotherham / Barnsley.
THE DUTIES OF A CNC PROGRAMMER TURNER:- CNC turning of complex precision engineered components
- Confident working on medium to high volume batch work and fully skilled to program, set and operate CNC turning centres with FANUC control and driven tools.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and job routings to set up and program a wide range of turning/milling operations on both repeat and new components.
- Fully experienced with machining of both standard and more exotic raw materials.
- Able to work to tight timelines and multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Fully competent with all types of inspection equipment to verify component quality.
SKILLS:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a high precision manufacturing background
- Excellent communication skills
HOURS:
Rotating day and evening shifts on a weekly basis.
THE PAY:- Hourly rate between £18-£20 per hour depending on experience
- OT paid at 1.5x (basic + bonus)
- 6% bonus eligible after probation
